You can find us in the Historic District of Sanford, the venue accommodates up to 175 guests. Our over 10,000 square foot venue offers beautifully restored interiors, featuring indoor and outdoor garden ceremony sites, indoor and outdoor garden cocktail hour spaces, bridal suites for getting ready pre-ceremony, a stunning large ballroom, and exclusive spaces like the Lounge and the Library to elevate your day. Our Story
Our History: Established in 2017 as a wedding venue, Historic Venue 1902 is a historic schoolhouse in Sanford, FL. Located just north of Orlando. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. What is now Central Florida’s premier wedding venue, was once the Sanford Grammar School.
Our venue was restored to perfection. With many venues in the Orlando market, we saw a need for a timeless, unique wedding venue option. We knew we had to have the perfect outdoor ceremony location, all white walls, and incredible private suites for couples to get ready pre-ceremony.

Historic Venue 1902 has quickly become one of the top wedding reception venues and wedding ceremony locations in the Central Florida area. Winning Orlando Magazine's Best of Wedding Award for Seminole County Venue, Historic Venue and Top award for Best Venue in Orlando. Additional awards for Best Venue in Sanford by Sanford Magazine along with our Best of weddings wins from the Knot and WeddingWire! Our Wedding garden is extremely popular among couples seeking an outdoor ceremony location.
