Lisa

Lisa’s love of historic buildings, all things vintage, and extending authentic southern hospitality have found a perfect home at Historic Venue 1902!

With her background in interior design and passion for historic preservation, Lisa’s vision of repurposing an old grammar school into a elegant wedding venue became a reality. Lisa and her husband, Brady, have 5 boys who can often be found working hard alongside the amazing Historic Venue 1902 staff and concierge team.

At Historic Venue 1902, getting to know our couples is one of Aleshia's favorite things! Aleshia joined the team in 2017, with her background in events and Interior Design, She will use her skills to work closely with you along with the incredible Historic Venue 1902 team to help plan your perfect wedding day! She truly believes it is a privilege to be a part of your wedding!

If I could put 1,000 stars for this review, I would! From the second I walked in for my first tour of Venue 1902, I knew this was the place I was going to get married. It is absolutely gorgeous on the inside and out. Lisa and Taylor helped me along the way by answering a million questions and making sure everything was set for my wedding day. I'm not used to leaving things in other's hands so I was very anxious the morning of the wedding when it came to putting my vision to life. Taylor, my day-of-coordinator checked in on me multiple times throughout the morning assuring me that everything was running smooth and just as planned. I know that there are usually minor hick-ups at a wedding but I can seriously say mine was perfect. We had zero issues thanks to the amazing staff at Venue 1902. I recommend this Venue to anyone searching to have the best wedding experience possible.
